What is Short Term Investment and its Horizon ?
Short Term or Medium Term Investment is investment in Capital Markets, we need to stay invested in particular Equity, Mutual Fund for short period only for small returns.
Medium Term Investment horizon is 3 months to 1 year.
And for Short Term Investment horizon is 1 week to 3 months.
Returns Expected should be 10% for Medium Term and 5% for Short Term.
Which stock to invest for Short/Medium Term ?
For Short or Medium term Investment one should always choose the Trending or Seasonal Stock, which has good volumes during the period of selection with upward momentum .
Brand Value is not considered while selecting short term investments.
What if value goes down ?
Generally for Equity Short term investment, Stop losses are to be kept at or equal to the profit you are expecting.
My suggestion to my clients are to keep a Stop loss of 0.50 paise if you are expecting the profit of 1 Rs.
Averaging if required to be done at 20% dip in stocks.
Any stocks that have bad management vows or extreme bad news should simply be exited.

Generally, we suggest our clients to buy Seasonal Stocks and Trending Stocks irrespective of their Brand Value
Monthly Accumulation or Systematic Investment Plan is the best method to buy Long term investment stocks instead of putting the same in Lumpsum.
